Remediation & Cleanup
Removal is only finished when the space is clean. We handle the full remediation and cleanup — bagging and hauling off all removed foam and insulation, vacuuming and prepping the surfaces, and leaving the attic, wall cavity, or building clean, inspectable, and ready for re-insulation or the next trade to step in.
Remediation and Cleanup That Leaves the Space Ready
Removal is only half the job — what you're left with matters just as much. Stripped foam produces a lot of debris and a messy substrate, and the next trade can't work in that. Our remediation and cleanup phase takes a torn-out space and turns it into a clean, prepped, inspectable surface ready for re-insulation, roofing, or whatever comes next.
Debris Bagging and Haul-Off
Cured foam is bulky and light, so it fills bags and roll-offs fast. We handle the full waste stream:
- Foam chunks, shavings, and dust bagged at the source
- Volume jobs staged into roll-off containers
- Scheduled haul-off and proper disposal
- Nothing left piled in the attic, crawlspace, or yard
Surface Prep for the Next Trade
After the bulk foam is gone, the substrate usually still carries a residue or fuzz layer. We take it the rest of the way:
- Wire-wheeling or grinding off open-cell residue on wood
- Cleaning closed-cell remnants down to bare substrate
- Knocking down high spots so a re-spray or new insulation seats evenly
- Wiping or vacuuming surfaces so the next material actually bonds
Clean and Inspectable
A properly cleaned space lets you — or an inspector, or the next contractor — actually see the framing, decking, and penetrations. We vacuum fine dust, clear the work area, and leave sheathing, joists, and rafters exposed and readable so any underlying issue isn't hidden under leftover debris.
Containment Through the Whole Job
Dust control runs start to finish. Plastic containment and filtration keep foam dust from migrating into finished areas, and the site is broken down and final-cleaned at the end. Crews wear respirators and PPE throughout.
Handoff Ready
Whether the next step is new insulation, a roofer, an electrician, or a sale-ready inspection, we leave the space in a condition the next person can walk into and start working — no surprise mess, no buried debris.

Frequently Asked Questions
That's the goal of the cleanup phase. We don't just pull the bulk foam — we clean the substrate of residue and fuzz, knock down high spots, and vacuum the surface so new insulation or a re-spray bonds to a sound, even surface. The space is left genuinely ready for the next install.
We handle the full waste stream. Foam chunks, shavings, and dust are bagged at the source, staged into roll-offs on larger jobs, and hauled off for proper disposal. Nothing gets left piled in the attic, crawlspace, or on your property.
Yes — leaving it inspectable is the point. We vacuum fine dust, clear the work area, and leave framing, decking, and penetrations exposed and readable so you, an inspector, or the next trade can see exactly what's there with no debris hiding anything.
